THE

Art Experience
Amador City, CA
2023

Driving through the rolling green hills and bright blue skies of my hometown was the inspiration for this show. I imagined what it would be like to stop into a roadside mini-mart filled with TRAVERSO flavored items. Trucker hats, advertisements and prints of landscapes filled the walls, where you could fill up and order a burger, a TRAVERSO burger. The backyard was the spot with DJ and pop up burlesque performance.

The next chapter to the “Burgers at the End of Nowhere” exhibit, this time the burgers were painted on downed trees that lined the country road. Fondly called “sTREEt ART”, it was fun to create unexpected public art in spaces that are usually not filled with inorganic color. If you are ever in Amador City, see if you can find a burger.

A large outdoor event poster advertising 'The Road and Hoes' event on Saturday, April 22, from 4 to 8 PM in Amador City, California. The poster features colorful, stylized text and mentions an art party inspired by the open road with various activities, performances, and a website for reservations.
Green rolling hills with scattered trees, a white house, and a blue sky with fluffy clouds.
Two women sitting at a wooden outdoor table, one smiling and holding a glass of white wine, the other laughing and eating, with a group of people dining under a large blue umbrella in the background.
An outdoor evening party with people socializing under string lights and umbrellas, some sitting at picnic tables and others standing, with a food stand and a bicycle displayed on a platform in the foreground.
